There are so many ways for Christians to share their faith, even if - they don’t have extra money, they don’t have transportation, they have children to care for, or they have a disability.

Disaster Relief Kits
You can make disaster relief kits, which provide basic toiletries to people who have lost everything. They will be distributed by the Christian organization Operation Blessing.

Grocery Shop for Food Ministry
Take your kids grocery shopping just to buy food for the Christian food pantry. You may want to let each child pick out 10 items to put into the cart. Then, as a family, deliver it to the food pantry.

Blanket Collection
Collect blankets for a local Christian ministry or homeless shelter. Some organizations will take used blankets that are still in good condition.

Support Fundraising Events
Take your family to a Christian event that is raising money to help spread the message of salvation. Many churches put on special suppers and concerts to raise money for mission trips and other evangelistic events.

Invite a Kid to Camp
Find a Christian camp for your child and have him invite a non-Christian friend to go, too. Pay for the friend.

Invite Friend to go on a Work Mission Trip
Plan to go on a construction working mission trip. Invite a non-Christian friend to go with you and work. Help get your friends part funded, too.

Make a Friend at a Nursing Home
Spend time each week with a person in a nursing home. You can play card games, look at old pictures, walk on the grounds, listen, and talk about a fun church event you just went to.

Read-a-thon
Kids can do a read-a-thon to raise money for their favorite evangelistic ministry. They can get sponsors to pledge money for every book or page that they read.

Collect Eyeglasses
You can collect used eyeglasses and donate them to Medical Ministry International. They are a Christian organization that will fix the glasses and give them to people who need glasses. Medical Ministry International provides spiritual and physical health care through out the world.

Grow Vegetables
Grow extra vegetables in your garden and give them to a local Christian soup kitchen.

Knit Winter Items
You can knit mittens, hats, scarves, and neck warmers to be distributed through your local Christian homeless shelter.

Witness Through Your Post Its
You can get a pad of 100 Post Its (for $4) that has Are You Good Enough To Go To Heaven? written on them. There is also a website address printed on the Post It. This is for a site that explains salvation. There is some room left on the Post It so that you can write a short message or note.

Shoes Drive
Send a new pair of shoes to the Christian ministry - Buckner. They distribute shoes to orphans through out the world.

Pen Pal Ministry - Prison Fellowship
Through the Christian ministry, Prison Fellowship, write letters to a prisoner telling him about Jesus and Christianity.

Support Love Packages
Collect and send Bibles, Christian books, Christian magazines, & tracts to Love Packages. They send these items to mission fields through out the world. Look through your own bookshelves and storage areas, ask church members to donate items, look at yard sales, used book stores, thrift shops, advertise and have a public collection point.

Pencil Case Kit
Make pencil case kits for children whose parents are struggling to provide basic shelter, food, and clothing. They will be distributed by the Christian ministry Operation Blessing.

Quarters from Kids
Kids can help disaster victims and spread Christianity by collecting and donating quarters to Operation Blessing. Kids can also do extra chores and jobs for quarters.

Invite the Neighbor Kid
Invite a non-Christian neighbor kid to go with your family to fun church events. Some churches have Easter egg hunts, Christmas parties, and Christian rock concerts.

Outdoor Ministry
Join an outdoorsman group and invite non-Christian men. You could also start a similar group in your area.

Baby Bottle Project
Collect loose change and donations in a baby bottle http: to help orphans through the Vision Trust Organization.

Mentor a Kid
Volunteer for a Christian mentor ministry.

National Day of Prayer
Tell your non-Christian neighbor, family member, or co-worker that you will be taking part in the National Day of Prayer on May 3rd. Ask them if they have a prayer request that they would like you to prayer for on this day. Later, hand or send them a Prayer Postcard saying that you prayed for them. Kids may enjoy making their own cards.

Advertise Christian Radio
Make flyers listing the program schedule for your local Christian radio station. Include a small description of each show. Mail or deliver the schedules door to door.

Local Church Brochure
Make a brochure listing the Christian churches in your area. Include information about the different services and activities for each church. Pass them out door-to-door.

Marriage Retreat
Invite a non-Christian couple to go on a Christian marriage retreat. Pay for them to attend.

Send Kids to Concert
Encourage your son or daughter to invite a non-Christian friend to a Christian concert. Pay for it.

Show Video Shorts
Show a Christian video short to a non-Christian adult or kid that you know. Are You Ready? and Watch and Pray are good ones to share or discuss with almost anyone.

College Campus Evangelism

Put up Posters
Choose from a variety of free posters. Print them and put them up in public places.

Child Care for a Single Parent
Provide occasional free childcare for a single parent.

Foster Care
Become a foster parent for a child in need. You will be able to show the child God’s love on a daily basis and take him to church.

Invite Someone to Live with You
Find a college student that needs a place to live for free while going to school nearby. Do you know of a pregnant teen that has been kicked out of her home? Is their a niece or nephew that you could invite to stay with you during the summer? This would give the person an opportunity to see Christ in your life and to visit church with you.

E-mail makes it easy to reconnect with old friends. Don’t send an email for the purpose of preaching. However, if you really want to rebuild a friendship, then exchange emails. You can write about God as you tell about your daily life and feelings.

You can help deliver meals to Seniors through the Meals on Wheels program.
Wear a T-shirt representing Christ or your church.

Vacation Bible School
The whole family can take part in vacation Bible school. The kids can invite their non-Christian friends and parents can volunteer to help.

Christian Teen Magazine
Subscribe to Focus on the Family’s Breakaway (for teen boys) or Brio (for teen girls) . Your son or daughter can share the magazines or individual articles with their non-Christian friends.

Gift Basket for Graduate
Make a gift basket for a non-Christian kid that is graduating high school or college. Include graduation gift items, a Bible and Money Matters for Teens.

Make Quilts
Make a quilt from fabric scraps, remnants, clothing, or $1 clearance fabric at Wal-Mart and send it to Lutheran World Relief to be given to someone in need.
Baby Layettes
Put together a baby layette and send it to Lutheran World Relief. They send the layettes to new mothers in refugee camps, hospitals, and villages around the world

Make Sewing Kits
Put together a sewing kit of pre-washed fabric, needles, thread, and buttons and send it to Lutheran World Relief. Sewing kits are used in vocational training programs to teach sewing skills to earn an income.

Sweater Project
Knit a sweater for the Guideposts organization or collect and donate sweaters for a local Christian charity.

Habitat for Humanity
Volunteer with a church group to help build a Habitat for Humanity house.

Start a Blog
Evangelize through a Blog. Avoid being preachy and using Christian jargon. Write so that non-Christians will stay on your site. Build a Blog around a secular topic like a sport, hobby, health issue, current event, and music.

Offer support, advice, and prayer through an evangelistic or church website.

Make a Website
Create a website that focuses on a secular topic like - a sport, hobby, health issue, current event, or music. Include Christian information occasionally with out over doing it or sounding preachy. When you answer email inquiries you can be even more open about Christianity.

Hold a fund-raiser such as a bake sale, car wash, or bike-a-thon to raise money for missions. Also, help your children write letters to a missionary family that your church supports.

SAT or GED Tutoring
Offer free tutoring to individuals or a group. Help them prepare for important tests like the SAT or GED. Ask your pastor if you can meet at the church.

College Prep Workshop/Financial Aid Help
Offer a free college prep and financial aid workshop at your church. Advertise your workshop to the community and get your church high schoolers to bring non-Christian

Nutrition and Weight Loss Coaching
Hold a free weight loss support group that meets at your church. Offer nutritional advice, weight loss coaching, and Christian fellowship. Church members can invite their non-Christian friends to come, too.

Aerobic Class
Hold free aerobic classes in your church basement. Invite non-Christians and women from the church to exercise together. Play Christian music and pray together as a group at the end of the workout. Find high school volunteers that want to baby-sit for free or get donations to help with babysitting expenses.

Your church can provide financial ministries to your own members and the community. Invite kids in the community to come to the church to see a Movie on DVD and have snacks. You can do this on a weekly basis, which would give the parents an opportunity to go out for a few hours.

Fishing Trip or Camp Out for Men
The men at church can invite their friends, neighbors, and co-workers to go on a men’s fishing trip or camp out. You can provide good food, a fishing clinic, speaker that gives his testimony, and the pastor can invite all the men to visit other church activities and classes that the men would enjoy.

Fashion Show
Your church’s women’s ministry can put on a fashion show with a salad luncheon, musical entertainment, and a guest speaker. She can talk about something interesting and give her testimony. You can get clothing: on loan from a store, in exchange for promoting the store, and by using the personal clothing from people at church.

Christian Rock Concert
Join together with other churches to raise money to hire a Christian Rock Group. Make sure every kid in town is invited for free, use buses and vans to transport them, plan follow up events, and plan for your youth group to grow.

Senior Adult Revival Meeting
Plan a Revival Event and invite Seniors. You can have an older evangelist speaker, gospel singer or blue grass group, and serve lunch.

Senior Outings
Plan monthly day trips for the Seniors at church and their guests. Transport everyone by bus or in vans. Don’t charge the guests. Let them know about your Senior group at church and all the fun things that you do.

Get Well Visit
Visit the friends and relatives of your church members, when they are in the hospital. Take a vase of flowers, represent the church and offer to pray with them.

Special Olympics
Get a group together from your church to volunteer at your local Special Olympics. Wear t-shirts or hats with your church name printed on them. Show others that Christians care about the needs of the people in the community.

After School Program
Set up a free after school program in your church’s basement or gym. You can provide sports, crafts, board games, tutoring, and mentoring. Invite the kids to come to children’s church, also.

Adult Day Care at the Church
Many older adults cannot be left alone during the day. They may need supervision, help, socialization, or mental stimulation. A lot of times the caretaker must return to work or can no longer do it alone. Your church can offer Adult Day Care. Daily activities might include: a morning snack, read and discuss current events, exercises, visits from the children’s day care, lunch, games, crafts, sing-a-longs, Birthday and holiday celebrations.

Child-Identification Program
Advertise to the community that your church will be giving out free Child-Identification Kits. You can offer: fingerprinting, a photo or video of the child, dental impressions, and information cards which include any birthmarks, scars, and medical conditions. Send everything home with the parent along with information about the children’s ministry at your church.

Kids Coat Swap
Ask your church members to donate used coats. Advertise to the community that you will have a coat swap at your church. Anyone is invited to come and take a coat or give a coat.

Free Classes and Workshops
Hold free classes at your church and invite the public - sign language, arts and crafts, andkarate.

Church Orphan’s Ministry
There are many different ways to minister to orphans through your church. Start an adoption fund for members of your church who want to adopt. Plan a group mission trip to help an orphanage. Raise awareness concerning orphans. Start a support group for adoptive and foster parents. Hold a fundraiser to support an orphanage. Collect items for orphans. Host adoption and foster care workshops or seminars.

Garage Sale
Have a garage sale in the church gym or basement. Ask for donated items and raise money for a specific evangelistic church ministry. On a table: Offer Christian Books and Bibles and information about your church.

Show or Give The Hope DVD
The Hope is a DVD that gives a wonderful 80 minute overview of the Bible and explains why we need to except salvation. You can view it online. Make arrangements with a college so that you can show this DVD on campus. Offer free coffee drinks and muffins. Tell the students about the college group that meets at your church. Offer to pick them up in the church van to transport them to and from church. You can also give this DVD away. There is special pricing when you buy large quantities. For Example: 100 DVDs are $5.25 each. 500 DVDs are $4.25 each. 1000 DVDs are $3 each.

Children’s Event at the Park
Rent the covered area during a warm, busy day. Put up signs inviting all. Bring kids from the church, too. Ideas - Christian music performers, magicians, Christian crafts table, puppet show, snacks and invitations to Children’s Church.

Fourth of July Celebration
Throw a Fourth of July Celebration at your church. Invite the public by word of mouth, a large sign in front of your church, and door-to-door invitations. Show a family friendly movie, provide free snacks and drinks, and provide a fun opportunity so that the community can familiarize themselves with your church. Ladies Slumber Party
Plan an annual slumber party for the women in the church. Encourage every woman to bring a non-Christian friend. Keep the whole event fun and not preachy. Provide an opportunity for the guests to see that Christian women can have fun. You can watch a

Men’s Sports on Big Screen
Host an event like Super Bowl, at the church for men. Encourage each man to bring a non-Christian friend to watch the game on a big screen. Have lots of junk food and pizza.

Preschool Play Time
Hold a weekly Play Time at your church for young children and their moms. The children will enjoy playing with each other and the mom’s will enjoy talking with other adults. Encourage moms who are church members to invite non-Christian moms to come to Play Time.

Homeschool Events
Hold homeschool events at your church. All types of families homeschool, it isn’t just Christian families. The church can provide an area that homeschoolers can use for - holiday events and parties, a craft get together, a talent show, a spelling bee, and a once a week gym time.

Church Website
Many people visit a church’s website before they decide to visit the church in person. It is important to design your website for non-Christians and non-church members.

Operation Shoebox
Your church can be a collection site for Operation Shoebox. People from the church and community will bring their filled shoeboxes to be packed and sent to a Samaritan’s Purse processing center.

Assemble Aids Caregiver Kits
World Vision sends caregiver kits to volunteers who help people with Aids. Your church can help buy purchasing items and assembling the kits for World Vision.

Love Loaf
Volunteers can pass out promotional materials and plastic love loaves to collect money for World Vision.

Look for the Need
1-½ years after Hurricane Katrina, families are still living in small FEMA trailers. Many of them have no transportation in order to look for a job. Their children are depressed. They need free Christian counselors, Christian encouragement, hope, and physical help. You can look for the need in your area. Many families are stuck and need physical help and emotional hope to get them going again.

Sports Clinic
Invite neighbor kids to a sports clinic in the local park. Church high schoolers can coach, provide refreshments, and invite the kids to church.

Bike and Skateboard Tricks Event
Invite and take non-Christian kids to a Luis Palau event or hold your own. Hire a group that performs at county fairs an other events to come set up outside your church. Invite the community, and advertise what your church has to offer.

JoePix Major Event Outreach
Volunteers go to events, take digital photos of people, and give them a photo retrieval card. When the photos are retrieved through the JoePix website people have the option of sharing it online with family and friends, order a free 5×7, see a gospel presentation, ask for prayer, and connect with local ministries online or in person.

Church at the Mall
Your church can rent store space at the mall. Make it look inviting for non-Christians. Hold modern church services on Saturday and Sunday. Throughout the week, your church volunteers can have: puppet shows, a Christian book section for kids, show movies, free classes, lectures, free coffee and musical entertainment etc.

Pass Out Sack Lunches
Pack sack lunches and pass them out downtown to people who are hungry. You can also pass out free Bibles or books and tell them about a nearby church ministry that can help them.

Apartment Ministry
Prepare welcome bags for families moving into apartments. Include a brochure about your church.

Nursing Home Flowers
After your church’s worship service, deliver the alter flowers to a resident in a nursing home. Stay awhile and visit, too.

Evangelism Sunday School Class, Small Group Study, or Workshop
Way of the Master: Basic Training Course is an eight-session DVD program by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. It will teach your group to overcome their fears of witnessing to others.

Evangelism Book Club
Hold a book club at your church or home. Choose a book about evangelism for the club members to read and discuss.
